Level III Fee Decision Still Pending
CBIA attorneys have successfully persuaded a Sacramento Superior Court judge to reconsider his tentative ruling that would have allowed eligible school districts to start charging Level III impact fees.  During a hearing on July 22, 2016, where CBIA sought to extend the preliminary injunction while the litigation proceeds, lawyers Matt Francois and Dave Lanferman raised sufficient concerns with the tentative ruling and the judge decided he needed more time to consider the issues. Palo Alto Keeps Moving toward Highest Bay Area Affordable Housing Fees
The City of Palo Alto takes the next step toward adopting the highest IZ and AHIF in the Bay Area (outside of SF) this week. The Planning and Transportation Commission meeting on Wednesday July 27th will feature consideration of recommending to the City Council that they approve $50 per sq/ft fees across the board for all new for sale and rental housing.
