On Tuesday, August 2 ^nd, we mailed out our summer mailer. If you do not receive your mailer by Tuesday, August 9th, please call (469-742-8100) or email Erin Johnston at [email protected], and we will send one to your family.

 

New Student Orientation

If you are new to Lovejoy Elementary, we hope that you are able to join us for our New Student Orientation. This is on Wednesday, August 10 ^th from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. This is an opportunity to meet new students, tour the building, and learn more about our school.

 

Meet the Teacher

For the 2016 - 2017 school year, Meet the Teacher Night is scheduled for Tuesday, August 16^th.  Our kindergarteners may come at 4:45 - 5:30.  Children in grades 1 - 4, may join us at 5:30 - 6:30.  While making your way about the building, you may want to stop by the cafeteria to enter money into your child's lunch account, purchase spirit wear, join the PTA, etc.  Also, be sure to sign the form in your child's class, informing us as to how your child will be getting home at the end of the day the first week of school and on a typical day.  We hope to see you on the 16 ^th! Please use the church parking lot for overflow parking, and please do not park in the fire lane.

Volunteering for the 2016 - 2017 School Year
As you know for the safety and security on all campuses, our volunteers must complete a volunteer form EACH YEAR which includes a criminal record check. Class Lists

Check out the Lovejoy Elementary class lists on the 12 ^th of August after 5:00 p.m., in the convenience of your own home.  You may go to the Lovejoy Elementary website under Parent Resources to see grade level lists or you may check lists posted on the Lovejoy Elementary Library windows, midway facing the south parking area.  If you prefer your child's name not be included on the Lovejoy website or on the window of the library, please contact us at (469)742-8100. 

Supply packets purchased through the PTA will be delivered directly to classrooms before your arrival on the 16 ^th.  If you did not purchase your school supplies with the PTA, then please click here for the link to the list.
