Learn, explore, and play at Reeves-Reed Arboretum's TREMENDOUS TREES day camp.  What better place to learn about the giants of the plant world than at the Arboretum?  As a budding environmental steward, you'll travel the world to learn some fun and fascinating facts about trees...and the animals that depend on them.  Every day is a new adventure and we promise that you won't look at these impressive plants the same way again after this week!

Bees, Bats, Butterflies...Hummingbirds and Humans
for children ages 5 to 12
Wednesday, August 10 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am

Ever wonder if yellow and purple string beans taste the same? Or if flowers are edible? Ever wonder which pollinators visit a vegetable garden? If you've ever wondered about these things and want to learn a simple, fun and efficient way to grow and harvest delicious veggies in less space, with less time, and less work, come discover the wonderful world of Square Foot Gardening in this weekly class at Reeves-Reed Arboretum.

Join us each Wednesday through August 31 to discover the world of vegetable gardening from "Seed to Plate" the Square Foot Garden way!

NOCTURNAL NEIGHBORS
for families with children ages 5 and up
this Friday, August 12 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Did you know that raccoons wash their food or that owls have "special" ears? Come hear about these interesting tidbits and much more in this nighttime family program! Each Nocturnal Neighbors will focus on a different animal and includes a hike, fun activities, and...a story with s'mores by the campfire!
