"I Know There Is Something I Am Suppose To Do, I Just Don't How To Figure It Out!"
Of the 60 Phone Free Consults that I have done in the last few months, I would say the above quote is the most asked-about-theme from the list below. So I thought I offer subscribers some general guidance on how to resolve this feeling. This is not to say that each individual does not have unique blocks to understanding what they're suppose to do.
At its core, the solution to this question is the
Invitation to Divinity/Wisdom that you have heard me talk about in other newsletters. Many folks have an understanding that there is a spiritual intelligence inside all of us -- that it has a limitless capacity to give guidance about anything. But very few are really trying to access that intelligence or if they are, they fall into some of the innocence traps that nullify the Invitation. The key to the Invitation is what happens after you make it which is to be
in Faith. If you get out of faith, it nullifies the Invitation! And that's where I come in -- to help folks understand how you can get out of faith and to show clients the subtler, not-so-obvious ways of being out of faith. Sometimes I call this: hidden-non-letting-go-energy. This example of an Invitation might help you create your own Invitation:
I invite my Divinity/Wisdom to offer me guidance about a direction to take that would be in alignment with my soul. I will stand in faith that this will flow up from inside. I am in faith and I will not retreat from this!
Bottom-line: Wisdom absolutely know what's blocking you -- that is a certainty - lean on that, don't ever doubt it!
The second general guidance is when you feel you are in this place, don't get frustrated or worry about it or judge yourself in anyway -- basically don't have an opinion about it! These feelings are blocking your wisdom. I am going to say that again! These type of subtle negative feeling are blocking your wisdom and guidance!
The third general guidance is that at its core this feeling of knowing there is something suppose to do but not sure how to figure it out is about the
fear of change. There are many ways to get past that fear but one way is to understand that fear is coming from your own thinking. And I am sure many of you reading that are saying, "Greg, I know." Here is my suggestion, let go of thinking you know that! You want to hear something new about how your thoughts create your feelings. You might try my buddy, Joe Bailey's book,
Fearproof Your Life.
You can also try this simple 2000 Year Old Invocation:
God (Spirit), I give over all these fears, I ask that you take them from me, I am ready for you to receive them!
I love what Brother Joel Osteen, says about this theme: We all are hard-wired to do something! Believe that, have faith in that! As opposed to judging yourself that you can't figure it out!
Brothers and sisters, there are always two missions! In this case, the mission to discover your "calling" and the mission
how you go about discovering it -- that's the Warrior Code!
