AMAZING BEGINNINGS:
THIS WAS THE BEST START TO A SCHOOL YEAR FOR THE BUCCANEERS!
THANK YOU, PARENTS AND VOLUNTEERS!
THE 2016-17 SCHOOL YEAR IS FILLED WITH PURE POTENTIAL!!!
ENTRY PROCEDURES:
Thank you for ringing the bell for school entry, for stating your first and last name, for stating your explicit purpose on campus, for signing in at the front office, and always wearing a Visitor Sticker.
LUNCH VISITORS: We will be able to accommodate LUNCH VISITORS beginning the week of 8/15.
We ask that you allow our students to continue to practice procedures this upcoming week and look forward to 8/15 when visitors may join their student at the Visitor Table (stage).
BUS GUEST RIDERS: Guest riders on buses will be accepted the week of September 6th.
We are still conducting bus counts and cannot accommodate guest riders the first month of school.
LABEL IT, PLEASE! Please label your child's belongings with first and last names.
Items that are labeled rarely end up in the lost and found!
Label jackets, sweaters, sweatshirts, water bottles, backpacks, etc.
It is shame to donate thousands of items each year because they were not labeled or claimed.
Don't let your NorthFace jacket or MBES Spirit Wear to end up in the donation pile!
STOP THE FUSS, RIDE THE BUS!
Keep on riding the bus!
Carpool has been manageable and safe based on exemplary adult behavior and the high percentage of bus riders in the morning.

Back to School Nights

These are adult-only opportunities to learn more about classroom procedures and the curriculum, and to ask your teacher questions. The evening begins in the cafeteria, followed by meetings in your child's classroom.
Target Open House will be on Wednesday, 8/10 at 8am in the Cafeteria.

What is a TPV?
While teachers attend grade level planning meetings, two TPVs help out in the classroom. This is a great way to help teachers and participate in your child's classroom. Becoming a TPV is very easy! In order to volunteer even once during the school year as a TPV, you MUST attend one of the training sessions. After you've completed training, you can sign up to cover one of the teacher's meetings!
