A Message from the Superintendent
Dear Lovejoy Community:
This time of year is filled with the excitement of our campuses preparing for the beginning of a new school year. Yesterday, Dennis Muizers, Deputy Superintendent, and I met with our campus principals. On Monday, August 15, all of our teachers will return from summer break. We are all looking forward to a school year filled with great experiences for our students, both in and out of the classroom. Please call on any of us at any time we may be of assistance.
During this past week Lovejoy enjoyed recognitions in several different media publications. Congratulations to the students and coaches, and best wishes for great seasons. Following are links to the articles:

A Message from the
Deputy Superintendent
Dear Lovejoy Community:
Each summer, the Advanced Placement teachers at Lovejoy High School receive student performance data from the prior year. This information helps them adjust their curriculum and instructional plans for the upcoming year to ensure students receive the best possible learning experience in each AP course. Once again, Lovejoy High School teachers had very strong AP course performance; in many cases exceeding the state and national mean scores. Today at Lovejoy High School, the teachers are digging into the AP data and making plans for the upcoming school year.
Respectfully,
Dennis Muizers
