News Update
  • Look up in the sky on Friday evening, August 12 for peak viewing of the Perseid Meteor Shower. This meteor show is always a popular event, but this year, the visible meteors are expected to double in quantity. For a more brilliant experience, borrow our Orion 10015 Starblast 4.5 Astro reflector telescope kitmade possible by the Amadeo Family Fund, and the Mixed Bag for Stargazing, bringing a whole immersion experience to the night viewing.

Submissions  Wanted:  Poetry in Motion for Teens - "But Wait, There's More!"
Now through Monday, October 31
Have something to say? Like writing and/or performing? Want to meet some fun new people? Join Poetry In Motion, a poetry and performance-based program for students in grades 7-12. This year's theme ' But Wait, There's More!' invites teens to interpret in many ways -- There's more to me! There's more to say, see or do! There's more to life! There's more fun to come! There's more beyond high school! There's more outside of Wilton! Use this theme to write a poem - short or long; comical or sad; insightful or inspirational. Poems will be selected for our March 2017 shows and performed (not recited) by you! Join in editing and performance workshops before taking to the Brubeck Room stage with your fellow poets. Send your poem now through October 31 to [email protected]. Questions? Call 203-762-6342.
