Today, the Department of Revenue (DOR) posted on its website the preliminary 2016 Equalized Values, Tax Incremental District (TID) Values, Net New Construction Report, and County Apportionment Report. DOR provides each municipality an opportunity to review the reports and seek changes/corrections if necessary. The deadline for communicating with DOR about the preliminary numbers is August 8. The Department will publish the final certified numbers on Monday, August 15.

 

Growth in the state's total valuation due to net new construction between 2015 and 2016 was 1.43 percent.
