SUPPORTING THE CIRCUS ARTS ARENA

What is Aerial Arts? It comprises of acrobatic skills performed while suspended on different types of apparatuses including "Silks" (long fabric), Lyra (steel hoop), Trapeze (horizontal bar) and more.  This discipline was popularized by Cirque du Soleil although it has been in existence since the 18th Century and is formally identified as a subdivision of Circus Arts.

Established in 2012, AERIAL ARTS AMERICA (AAA) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit international governing organization in the field aerial arts with missions to educate and create awareness in the industry, to raise the bar, instill and practice safety methods through its educational programs and exhibition opportunities.

AAA is proud to announce its 4th Annual West Coast Aerial Arts Festival (WCAAF), scheduled Nov. 11 - 13, 2016 in the beautiful sunny Orange County, California. The WCAAF is a one of a kind three (3) day event that brings together aerial artists, students and circus institutions in one place through workshop education, multiple category competitions and performance exhibitions. As a platform to solidify the growing standards and popularity of aerial arts, WCAAF also inspires the youth and the adults to challenge and explore beyond their limits, their technical, creative and artistic abilities.
