New Workshop Coming Soon

We have received many comments from visitors to our website requesting educational opportunities. In response to these requests, we are in the process of creating an online workshop that will focus on key steps to successful collaboration. We will launch the workshop in late summer and it will be available to all website visitors.

New Resources are added to HWHC each month...this month's additions include:

  • Health Improvement and Economic Development (report) - The California Endowment Foundation has released a report focused on the relationship between community health improvement and economic development. The report includes strategies, examples of promising practices, measures and case studies, and is one in a series of reports that will be created to focus on community collaboration.
  • National Equity Atlas (website) - Offers data and insight into equity for health and other determinants at the city level. The website is for community leaders and collaborators who want to better understand and measure equity in their own community. Policy and policy impact is also included in the website information.
  • Interactive Community Map, this tool offers insight into collaboratives around the country through the "100 Million Healthier Lives" movement.

  • Blog: An RWJF on June 27th offers tips and advice to help communities use data to develop goal and assess their progress. You can access the blog here.
