More exciting things are happening in Cottleville!

New Multi Sports Athletic Field:    This field, located in Legacy Park, is complete with the exception of installing the goalposts, bleachers and striping. Please stay tuned for a ribbon cutting date!

CWS Rotary Amphitheater:    Architects are currently designing plans and  estimating  construction cost for a bathroom building and stage at the  amphitheater  located in Legacy Park. This project has not yet been fully funded, but plans are moving forward.

Highway N Reconstruction :
MoDOT has recently awarded the project to a contractor for the improvements to Highway N between Weiss Road and Eagle Hill Lane. MoDOT released that they should issue the notice to proceed on August 8, 2016, with construction beginning soon after.

Scott A. Lewis Park :   The City's newest park in the Miralago subdivision is almost complete.  The paved trail between the lakes is under construction and some miscellaneous punch list items such as grading and seeding still remain to be completed.  The pavilion is  available  now for reservations. The lake features a boat ramp and is open to kayaking, long boarding and canoeing. Please join us for a ribbon cutting on August 3rd, 2016 at 6:30pm.

McAuley's Playground :  The fund raising continues for this new park with a  playground accessible for all children. The new park will be located behind the new Mercy Medical facility on Mid Rivers Mall Drive.  Hopefully construction will begin this fall.
For more information please visit:

Highway N Shared Use Path: The City received funding from MoDOT to install a new sidewalk on the north side of Highway N between Mannino's Market and Mid Rivers Mall Drive. The plans include a new wider pathway, and additional street lighting.  Design and right-of-way work is currently under way and construction should begin this fall.

Amco Ranger Pest Services: They are relocating to Cottleville and plan to be located in a new building at 5185 Highway N.

STORMWATER POLLUTION

What can YOU do to prevent stormwater pollution?

Only rain belongs in the drain!
Don't dump anything down storm drains. Be sure to clear away leaves and debris.
Clean up pet waste
Bag up pet waste and dispose of it in the trash to prevent harmful bacteria from washing into local waterways.
Use lawn or garden chemicals sparingly.
Choose organic alternatives when possible and check the weather forecast to avoid applying them before a storm.
Minimize runoff by not over-watering your lawn and garden.
Keep sprinklers on a timer to avoid pooling water.
Keep your car well-maintained.
Fix any fluid leaks promptly and make sure to clean up any spills. If you perform your own automotive maintenance, automotive repair shops will accept 5 gallons of used motor oil per resident per day.
Clean up trash and debris.
Make an effort to remove any trash from the street that would enter into the storm water system and pollute the waterways.
