For over 60 years The Diversity Center has honored women and men of outstanding dedication and community service in our region at the Annual Humanitarian Award Dinner. Honorees exhibit an extensive record of involvement in civic, charitable, volunteer, and professional organizations, and have contributed to the improvement of human relations among diverse groups in Northeast Ohio.

The Diversity Center's School and Youth Programs empower thousands of youth and youth serving professionals through leadership programs and cultural competence workshops to build school environments that promote respect, acceptance, and inclusion. Students who participate in our programs learn how to become leaders and positive change agents in their schools and communities, helping us achieve our vision to create communities where all people are connected, respected, and valued.

The Humanitarian Award Dinner is an important fundraising event for The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio. Proceeds help underwrite our school and youth diversity programs, including the Fall High School Retreat and interactive classroom sessions. To continue accomplishing sustainable change in all Northeast Ohio schools, The Diversity Center relies on funding from supporters like you.
