Student Health Insurance
You must decide if you want to waive the Student Health Insurance or purchase the insurance by opting in. Every full-time undergraduate student will automatically be covered under this plan unless he/she is covered under an existing health insurance plan.  Those students who are covered under an existing health plan may waive the University offered plan by completing an on-line waiver, which will be made available on the University Health Center website at www.studentplanscenter.com. You may also opt in on the same website. You must opt in or waive the insurance by September 6, 2016 to avoid being billed. Lack of a completed opt-in or waiver will default to automatic acceptance of the Insurance Plan.

Fall 2016 Transportation and Arrival
The deadline to request transportation for Fall 2016 arrivals is August 1. This service is free to all international and out-of-state students and includes transportation to and from the Akron-Canton Airport (CAK), the Canton Bus Station, and the Alliance Amtrak Station. More detailed information about transportation, including approved arrival and travel dates, can be found online. Please be sure to visit this site, as you must complete a transportation request form in order for your transportation to be provided. After submitting your request, you will receive a confirmation email verifying your pick up time.
