Medical professionals of all specialties are invited to AC Forum's biennial conference, April 20-22, 2017. With an expected attendance of over 900 professionals, the meeting is the largest venue for open discussion and education on advances in anticoagulant therapy and improved patient care.
The 3-day meeting will feature lectures on recent advances in anticoagulation therapy, small master classes, a "meet the expert" breakfast, poster presentations of original research, and exhibitors.
Past attendees have been pharmacists, physicians and nurses who provide direct care in the field of anticoagulation. Since patients with anticoagulation needs interact with doctors in many fields, medical professionals from all disciplines are welcome and can benefit from the discussions and research presented.

McMaster University Launches CLOT+
Customized Thrombosis Research Database
Medical professionals now have a new tool for accessing relevant and newsworthy research articles in the field of thrombosis.
CLOT+ is a continuously updated database of research articles powered by the Health Information Research Unit at McMaster University. The site systematically reviews over 120 journals and identifies articles with the strongest methods for clinical attention that meet rigorous criteria. Registered users can receive alerts as articles in their subject area become available and search the cumulative database.

NATF Hosts Thrombosis Summit 2016

Leading experts in thrombosis medicine will share game-changing developments in the prevention and treatment of heart attack, stroke and pulmonary embolism. These include innovations to manage heart attacks, guideline-based management algorithms for stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation, links between thrombophilia and infertility, techniques for overcoming heart valve thrombosis, and strategies for advocacy in thrombosis prevention.
