Jessamine Anderson is a 2016 graduate of SHS and a SEF Scholarship recipient who has lived in Snohomish the majority of her life. When she was 10 years old, her father passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack. Her mother returned to school to renew her nursing license to support her 3 daughters. Throughout the years, the community of Snohomish was there to support Jessamine. Her school, church, and many other community members "lifted me up and shaped me into who I am today

Through Snohomish Education Foundation, Jessamine received 5 scholarships from local organizations and another 6 scholarships from those outside of SEF. Jessamine expresses a very grateful heart for the support of her and her fellow students. "The support you give us is what makes Snohomish the unique place that it is. It really does take a village, and for that I couldn't be more grateful

" Last summer, during the SSD Snohomish Science & Arts Academy, Jessamine created a Facebook page called the "Humans of Snohomish
