SAFE ENVIRONMENT UPDATE/FINGERPRINTING

It's that time again! Every 3 years, all volunteers at Our Lady of Grace MUST renew Safe Environment Training and 2016 is our year! You are encouraged to do the training online at  www.virtusonline.org. Please print out certificate once the session has been completed and turn into the school office. This is a FREE service!

There will also be an on-site session on August 16th at 7:00pm, you may register for this online or call the Faith Formation Center at 

510-582-9266 to RSVP. Both the online and on-site trainings will bring everyone into compliance for the next 3 years. Anyone who volunteers anywhere with the school or parish MUST complete the training - even if you only volunteer once. Please note: All training needs to be renewed, even if you did a training during the last 12 months. The 3 year cycle is by School and Parish, and our last major renewal was in 2013. 

At the August 13th New Families Event, Fingerprinting services will be offered by the Diocese from 10am-12pm ($34 fee), this is a one time requirement. All parents wishing to volunteer with the children in any capacity NEED to be fingerprinted. If you wish to take advantage of this service, please call the office to RSVP.
