HBIDA presented the 2015 Nancy LaFevers Community Service Award to Peggy Wyatt Engman. Peggy, a speech-language pathologist, has been a long-time member of HBIDA
Board of Directors. In her volunteer capacity, Peggy organized the funds that were donated to HBIDA in memory of Nancy LaFevers. As a result, many children and adults have been provided with funds or testing by diagnosticians and speech-language pathologists who are knowledgeable about dyslexia and how to recognize it.
