Tri-City Raceway Park
Arctic Cat All-Star Sprint Action
Returns To
Tri-City Raceway Park
Guys Mills --  The long awaited and highly anticipated return of Tony Stewart's Arctic Cat All-Star Sprint Cars to Tri-City Raceway Park will take place this Sunday, July 31st.   The event, which is the finale of the Classic Ink sponsored inaugural I-79 Summer Shootout series, will also include the RUSH Pro-Late Models and the E-Mods on the racing card.

"We are extremely excited to have the Arctic Cat All-Stars back at the raceway.  The series is among the most competitive that you will find anywhere in the nation," stated speedway co-promoter Sam Tatalovic.  "In addition our local sprint car teams will certain provide some stout competition for the All-Stars, so it will certainly be interesting to see who will capture the $5,000 first place prize money."

The RUSH Pro-late Models will compete in a main event that pays $1,000 to win and the E-Mods will battle for a $600 top prize.  Hovis Auto and Truck Supply is sponsoring a $2,500 point fund for the Pro-Late Model competitors as an additional incentive for competing in the weekend's racing action.

This week's event will also include the band Joyride playing from 3:00PM to 5:00PM.  In addition Froggy 100.3 and 98.5 will be doing a live remote broadcast from the raceway and Mr. Froggy will be on hand to welcome the children.

All-Star competitor and Western PA native Danny Holtgraver, who captured the Sprint portion of the 2016 Lou Blaney Memorial Classic, will also have his Bonnell's Rod Shop sponsored sprint car on display.  Bonnell's Rod Shop will also have several hot rods on display.  For those in the market for a new vehicle Donovan and Bauer Auto Group will also have several new models on display.

In addition the Steve King Foundation, a non-profit, tax deductible, 501(c)(3) charitable organization established for the purpose of helping the dirt track racing community, will also have a display at the raceway which will include several of the Junior Sprints that compete each week at the Mercer Raceway Park.

The inaugural I-79 Summer Shootout presented by Classic Ink USA will begin with a Friday night visit to the Eriez Speedway on July 29. The three-eighths mile dirt oval, which is the smallest on the weekend swing, will host the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions for the first time ever during the I-79 Summer Shootout.
After a short, two hour jaunt down Interstate 79, the I-79 Summer Shootout will resume on Saturday evening, July 30, at Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. "Dirt's Monster Half-Mile" always provides some fast and furious racing action and this event will certainly be no exception.  Greg Wilson and Dale Blaney captured the wins when the All-Stars visited the speedway in 2015.

Pit Gates for Sunday's action will open at 3:00PM and Grandstand Gates will open at 4:00PM.
