Each morning is an opportunity at life and you can improve how your day goes by how you start it.  So before you check your text messages, e-mail, or turn on the news energize your mental and physical self. Let me show you how.
How to Have a Better Day!
Quite Time
Even though you have just woke up you need to spend a few minutes doing one if not all of the following.

White Light
Visualize the White Light going through your body and spirit cleansing and recharging.

Meditate.
It is been proven that meditation  brings blood pressure down and increases the feeling of well being.

Pray.
If you say nothing else but 'Thank You', you have said a great deal in prayer.

Stretch.
Our bodies need a little bit of warming up before we jump out of bed and it's important to stretch your muscles. Watching an animal when they wake up you will notice that they always take a few moments to stretch. Your muscles will thank you for this.

Hydrate Your Body
When you wake up your body is dehydrated and it's important to drink a glass of water before you have your morning coffee or tea.  Doing this will help all of your organs as well as cleansing the system.

Feed Your Body
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  You are breaking a fast.  It does not have to be an elaborate meal.  They can be a yogurt, an egg, or protein drink.  The brain does not function without protein and you need it to get your day going right.

Keep a Gratitude Diary
Take a few moments and think about things you are grateful for such as a full night's rest, the sun shining, whatever you can think of and write about it.  It does not have to be something big to be grateful for.  Being thankful for what you have can make a big difference in how you feel.

Use Affirmations.
It's important to use an affirmation each day. It can be the same one or different one. It's important to say it out loud as your subconscious mind absorbs what you are saying. Keep doing this and you will see changes.

Make a To Do List
No one is superman and we face a great many things in each day.  Write down what are the most important things to get accomplished for the day.  Work your way down the list and if you don't get everything done in one day move it to the next day.

Every night before bed I write out a list of what I need to do for the following day.  Sometimes it's the most insignificant things that I write down, but those are the things we often overlook.  I always manage to get done what I have on that list.  Many people think about doing this, but never start.  So start today and see your world change.

Many blessings,
Cherokee Billie
