USAID Acquisition and Assistance Update
Fiscal Year 2015 Highlights

October 16, 2015
Dear Partners,

Today is my last day as the Senior Procurement Executive and Director of USAID's Office of Acquisition and Assistance (M/OAA). As many of you are aware, I will be moving to Colombia in the coming months to serve as USAID's Deputy Mission Director.

Starting Monday, Mark Walther, M/OAA's Deputy Director of Washington Operations, will be the acting Director .

This past year has been an exciting time in M/OAA. With your support and partnership we have been able to make significant progress on a number of fronts. Your ideas, always generously shared and appreciated, have improved the way we operate and how we work together to achieve our common development goals. I am proud of our strengthened relationship and what we have been able to do.

In the attached document, I have highlighted a few of the great accomplishments that working together has helped us achieve.

Over the last four years, it has truly been an honor and a privilege to get to know you better, to listen, and to work with you. I leave Washington proud of the culture of cooperation and collaboration M/OAA and the partner community has developed. I predict, with hope, confidence and best wishes, that the Agency's relationship with you, our partners, will continue to grow during this leadership transition.

With warm regards,
Aman S. Djahanbani
Bureau for Management's
Director, Office of Acquisition & Assistance
Chief Acquisition Officer/Senior Procurement Executive
