GRAND-parenting!!
Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts. ~Psalm 145.4
Dear Friends,
As many of you know, Mark and I are FIRST TIME grandparents. Many of you have helped us along the way, sharing your own stories of being grandparents. I am learning that the greatest gift that I can give Evie Ione is the gift of my time. She is readying to turn 8 months old and she is alert and inquisitive and always moving-
and soon to be moving around as crawling is on the horizon. She most often has a smile on her face and gets delight from having someone roll a ball to her. She really is a GRAND baby!!
One of the most irreplaceable, valuable things we possess is our time. We cannot go out and buy more time, we cannot go into the kitchen and whip up a couple of extra hours. Time was the gift I most remember from my grandparents. Time is the gift that my parent gave to my children when I was pushed to my time-limits!
Time is your most precious possession. Do you spend it on what matters most? With these last days of July-and as summer slips into August-take some TIME to be with those that matter most. Take some time to consider the mighty acts of God- and then share them with those you love. Faith is passed- from generation to generation. Pass it on- with the gift of time!

Tell your neighbors - bring your friends and family to the Forest Lake Bluegrass Festival! A great community event to meet new people and enjoy some good food and music with a silent auction and games for the kids!
This event is a fundraiser for local, national and international charities and is sponsored by local churches in the Forest Lake area. The international charity chosen to benefit from this year's event is Feed My Starving Children.
The local charity to benefit this year is Haven Home, a mission of Forest Lake Area Mission for Families that will provide housing for temporarily displaced families in the Forest Lake school district.
Do you love event planning? Hosanna is hosting a booth again this year and we need volunteers to help plan, set up and represent Hosanna on July 30th. If you are interested in volunteering for this fun event, please contact Susy Richey at 651-464-4099 or Kathy Peterson at 651-982-9829.
