Congratulations to Janssen & Sons Ford
PCDC would like to congratulate Dan Janssen and Janssen & Sons Ford on the opening of its impressive new location on West Highway 6 & 34 in June.
Janssen & Sons purchased the 5.5-acre parcel for its new store from the Phelps County Development Corporation in the fall of 2015, and PCDC assisted with the successful tax-increment financing application for the project.
The new store gives the dealership about 5,000 more square feet of space and a new quick-service lane that allows customers to come in for vehicle oil changes, tire patches and other minor repairs without an appointment.
Janssen Ford is one of seven dealerships as part of the Janssen Auto Group. Besides Janssen & Sons Ford, the group includes Lee Janssen Motor Co. of Holdrege; Janssen Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram of Holdrege; Janssen Ford of York; Janssen Kool Honda of McCook; Janssen Chrysler Jeep Dodge of North Platte and Janssen Ford of Larned, Kansas.
