Can We Talk?
Conversations about Race and Racism
Sundays, August 7, 14, 21 & 28 at 11:00 am
 Can we talk? What does the phrase "Black Lives Matter" mean to you? How do you experience race? Where do you see racism? How can the church confront racism? How can you personally confront racism? What concerns and hopes do you around issues of race and racism?
Each Sunday during August you are invited to a forum at 11:00 am in the Parlor to discuss these and other questions. Members of our Governance Council and others will guide these conversations. Everyone is invited to take part.
And look for more conversations. Our Board of Social Justice and Action will offer a class entitled "White Privilege: Let's Talk" beginning Sunday, September 11.

Coffee Hour is a time to welcome guests and to strengthen relationships within our church community. This ministry is vital to the life, spirit, and growth of our church. Beverages (coffee, tea, water, juice/lemonade) and tableware are provided by Westmoreland. Food is a welcome addition and is provided by Coffee Hour Host(s). Please sign up to host coffee hour (once per year is recommended) with your family or pair-up with another member of the church.
