Lindsay Scott
Registered Physiotherapist
Lindsay's passion for helping others to move better is evident when you see her in action around the clinic. After completing her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Physical and Health Education degrees from Queen's University, Lindsay graduated from the University of Toronto with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Committed to providing an exceptional level of care and integrating evidence based approaches into her daily practice, Lindsay is currently working towards her Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy. She has also pursued post-graduate education in anatomical acupuncture, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, soft tissue release, prevention and management of running injuries, and athletic taping.
Lindsay's approach to treatment involves an in depth assessment to not only determine the tissue that has been injured, but also the true source of the issue. Lindsay enjoys helping clients achieve their personal goals through a balance of manual therapy, personalized exercise prescription, acupuncture, health promotion, and injury prevention. She has a passion for client education which is integrated into her practice to ensure optimal outcomes for every client.
Lindsay also has experience as a personal trainer, cycling instructor and running coach, which allows her to prescribe effective exercise programs for each of her clients.
Passionate about running and triathlon, Lindsay continues to train, compete and coach in the community. As a run Ambassador for lululemon, she has also had the honour of acting as an official pacer for several races across Canada. Currently training for her first full Ironman, she is learning to love her time in the pool almost as much as she loves lacing up and heading out for a long run!
