Help TS students & walk with us Sunday!
Mercer County Park's West Picnic Area is the place to be April 6, with all proceeds benefitting the NJCTS Children's Scholarship Program
NJ Walks for TS
Months of meticulous thought, planning and organizing will come to glorious fruition THIS SUNDAY when the inaugural NJ Walks for TS at Princeton takes place at Mercer County Park's West Picnic Area!

As we've been touting for a long time now, all proceeds from registrations, donations, fundraising, a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle will support the NJCTS Children's Scholarship Program! Our goal is to raise $10,000 (or more!) to support the scholarship program, and we already are two-thirds of the way there!

Since 2004, the NJCTS Children's Scholarship Program has awarded more than 200 scholarships to graduating New Jersey high school seniors with Tourette Syndrome on the merits of academic achievement, community involvement and accomplishments as an individual living with TS. We can't think of a better reason to hold a fundraising event than to benefit our kids -- our future!

The NJ Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders wants to personally thank the Kowalski family for the incredible amount of time, effort and care they have put into taking the lead in plotting out this event. Without them, NJ Walks for TS at Princeton would not be taking place.

And now, with the walk only a few days away, it's a good time to remind you of what Sunday will look like:
  • Registration and check-in begins at 1 p.m.
  • The walk begins at 2 p.m. and is a 5K loop along a paved path through the heart of breathtakingly beautiful Mercer County Park.
  • There will be a 50/50 raffle and silent auction, with cash and credit cards accepted.
  • The NJ Walks for TS at Princeton fundraising campaign will remain open through April 15, and donations will be accepted at the walk via cash, check or credit card.
  • Several of our 22-member Honorary Committee are expected to be on hand to speak and enjoy the festivities.
  • The eight-member West Side Experience funk rock/jazz fusion band will be on hand to provide a fun musical experience throughout the event. Listen to one of their songs now!
  • Granola bars, fruit and water will be provided, courtesy of Wegmans.
  • As detailed in the map below, Mercer County Park is easily accessible from Interstates 95 and 295, as well as Routes 206, 1 and 130. Upon approaching the park, please utilize the Paxson Avenue entrances on either Old Trenton Road (Route 535) or Hughes Drive, and follow the signs to the West Picnic Area. There will be plenty of parking available, and restrooms will be open on site.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the NJCTS office at 908-575-7350. We look forward to seeing you Sunday at Mercer County Park!
