The tickets are for matches only... there will be a drawing for each game. If you are not picked for the August 12th game, you can be entered in the second drawing for August 18th.

A new way to be involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters is coming to Hartford! "Club Mentor" will launch this fall.

 

Club Mentor will be a site-based mentoring program for Hartford area matches with Littles in grades 1-5. Bigs and Littles will be matched one-to-one but will then participate in a group program two to four times per month at the Redeemer Lutheran Church parsonage. A BBBS staff will be there each week (day and time to be determined) to offer a group activity for part of the time and then matches will have a chance to play games, read, do projects on their own. Matches will attend at least 2 of the 4 sessions each month.

 

This site-based program offers a little more structure and support for those just starting in the program. There is always a place to go and something to do. If you know someone, a potential Big or potential Little, that might like this type of mentoring program, give us a call for more information.

100 HOLES is back!!

The 100 hole Golf Marathon is back for its second year! This year's marathon will take place Friday, Sept. 30th at Kettle Hills Golf Course. Individual golfers will again attempt to golf 100 holes in one day. Check out the details on our website HERE and consider golfing, sponsoring a golfer, or coming out for the party on the patio that evening. Individuals and matches are welcome! .
We have a new BIG DEAL to offer our Matches
 
There is still enough summer to take advantage of this DEAL! Bigs and Littles can enjoy Regner Beach together with a Buy one, get one! The Big will pay $4 and the Little is free when they show their BBBS ID card at the Beach House, and get their wristbands. All other children in a match - as in a family match will have to pay regular price.

The Great Plate Fundraiser

 
The Great Plate is an all-in-one food and beverage holder great for picnics, tailgates, movie night and more. It was designed and is manufactured in Washington County. And now it is supporting BBBS and local children. The plates are for sale at the BBBS office, with a portion of every sale contributed to BBBS. Stop in and get yours.
