Summer is winding down. Are you ready to fall back into routines?
SCHEDULES AND ROUTINES
Schedules and routines help to promote children's learning. Explore guidelines to create a daily schedule that children can learn to follow in this video from the National Center on Quality Teaching and Learning.

SUPPORTING MORNING AND AFTERNOON TRANSITIONS
Children must adjust from home to child care on a daily basis. These transitions can sometimes be challenging. Here are some suggestions to make these transitions go more smoothly.
Child Care Aware® training has changed!
Starting August 15th, a fee will be implemented for all e-Learning courses, except for Getting Started and Safe Sleep and Reducing the Risk of SIDS. Learn more about this and other changes we've made.

Child Care Aware ® will no longer publish a Professional Development Guide. Watch the Statewide Training Calendar on the Growing Futures Registry in August to find upcoming face-to-face training events.
News and Happenings

August is National Breastfeeding Month. Check out our resources for supporting breastfeeding in your program.
Early Learning Guidelines (ELG) are research-based, measurable descriptions of the things young children are expected to know and be able to do at each age and stage of development.
