Our GED team is proud to announce another 2016 GED graduate! Viri Mendoza came to Necole's Place a little over a year ago. She was shy, an overwhelmed single mother of 4 beautiful children, but over time as she persevered through many obstacles, she gained confidence in so much more than just her GED. She gained lasting lifelong friendships and a resolve to pursue the love of her life, Jesus Christ. At first, Viri wasn't sure how to answer the question, "Do you believe Jesus is the lover of your soul?" Now with a confident "YES", she can exclaim this truth. On August 12, 2016, Viri will be presented with her GED Certificate at the client Cookout, Tour and Testimony service taking place at our new AWC & Necole's Place location (scheduled to open in 2017). Here is an excerpt she wrote about her experience at Necole's Place after her latest accomplishment.
" ' Everything with God is possible.' My name is Viridiana Mendoza. I'm from Mexico. I've been in this country half of my life. I didn't finish high school so a friend of mine told me that she was trying to get her GED in a center for women called Necole's Place. She was very excited to come to this place so I decided to make an appointment and try to see if I could do it too. I remember the first time I was so nervous but only God knew his plans for me. He also knew the obstacles that I had to pass through which he used to help. . . "
