Food Donations ROCK the
Vans Warped Tour 2016
Nearly 7,000 lbs of food donated by fans at rock festival
For the third year in a row, Feed Our Children Now, an organization also dedicated to fighting hunger, teamed up with the Vans Warped Tour to donate food to needy community members. Attendees of the traveling rock festival's Long Island concert, held on July 9th at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, were given the chance to "skip the line" by bringing canned food donations to the concert. For every can donated, fans could skip ahead that many spaces in line. Nearly 7,000 pounds of canned goods were collected and donated to The INN and MOMMAS House, an organization that supports young mothers and babies.
ROCK ON!

Family Remembers Daughter by Sponsoring a Meal in Her Name
Lisa Carlisi, Dean Jacoby, Nadine Jacoby, Emily Carlisi and Sarah Carlisi of the Sydne Jacoby Foundation
The Sydne Jacoby Foundation Gives Back to The INN
Nadine and Dean Jacoby are the parents of Sydne, an Oceanside teen who died tragically at the age of 19 years old while attending the University of Massachusetts. The Sydne Jacoby Foundation was named in her honor, and along with friends and family support, The Jacobys participate in various community service activities. Recently, they decided to sponsor a meal at the Mary Brennan INN for over 300 guests in their daughter's memory. The foundation chose the Mary Brennan INN as a recipient of their donation because Sydney volunteered at the soup kitchen as a high school student. Volunteers at the Mary Brennan INN were honored to have the family there and remember Sydne in a place that made an impact on her.
