Highlights of Session Meeting
The Session met July 18. Here are some highlights of their actions:
- They reviewed discussion from the congregational gathering on Sunday and decided to put all anticipated plans for rearranging any space on hold until other options could be considered.
- They determined to remove the front pew for the Randy Clark event, and will review whether to leave it out as part of the larger review of plans for the sanctuary.
- They approved a plan formed by Mission RVA to reach out to neighbors for partnership in outreach feeding ministry to Thomas Jefferson High School's teams.

T
he Gospel Embodied: Stories of True Greatness
This summer we will study 8 individuals from Christian history who surrendered their lives to a higher purpose and made a significant impact on the world around them. By considering the heart and character of these men and women of faith we too will be challenged to make a great difference in our own circles of influence. The study will be based on the books 7 Men and 7 Women by Eric Metaxas. We'll look at the lives of these believers who inspire us to true greatness. With special presenters each week, you won't want to miss.
