Summer sure hit hard and fast, didn't it?
Earlier this month, we wrapped up our 12th Annual Pop Tab & Coin Drop with a whopping 6.4 million tabs collected in just under 3 hours -- a huge accomplishment in our attempt to set a Guinness World Record. We even caught a few
Pokémon while we were at it!
And though summer is coming to a close, we are not slowing down here at the House. Coming up, you'll read about some of the great ways you can enjoy the final days of summer while helping to support our families including Indy's first "MommyMile" and the "Save Your Tabs" Challenge from our friends at Sun King Brewing Company!
As always, we're incredibly grateful to the friends and supporters of the House who host these events and help us provide comfort and care to thousands of families each year.

Coins, Pop Tabs, Pokémon...Oh My!
 Thank you to all who came out to support the House at our 12th Annual Pop Tab & Coin Drop! On Friday, July 15, 2016 (now officially known as Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana Day, thanks to a proclamation from Mayor Hogsett) we went out to set the Guinness World Record for the most pop tabs collected in 24 hours. Although we won't find out if we officially set the record until the fall, we did end up collecting 6,445,881 pop tabs in just under three hours on Monument Circle!

Time for our Wild, Wild Midwest Sporting Clays Event!
 Step into your cowboy boots and take a journey to the wild, wild Midwest for a good, old-fashioned shoot-out benefitting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana (RMHCCIN)! Join us on Saturday, September 17, at Howard County Izaak Walton League of America in Kokomo, IN for our signature sporting clays event. The event will feature 100 Bird Main Event & side events, raffle, silent auction, continental breakfast, snacks and lunch.

Taste...Journeys to the Wine Regions of California
Revel in breathtaking views as you sip your way through California wine country at our annual "Taste..." event hosted at the spectacular D'Amore atop Chase Tower on Friday, October 21.
This night to remember will be sure to take you on a journey of all the sense -- particularly the heart -- for the benefit of for the benefit of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana (RMHCCIN).

Provide a Meal that Heals
Sometimes after a long day at the hospital, a home-cooked meal can make all of the difference, and you have the opportunity to make that difference!
Get together with friends, family or co-workers to plan a menu and prepare a meal that heals for our families. We provide the kitchen, you provide the food! Not only will you be helping our families, but you will also have a great team building experience with your group of friends, family and business associates.
We are in need of meal groups for both our main House located on the IUPUI campus and our smaller House located inside Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health. Whether a one-time event, or a monthly date, we invite you to come to the House and share your culinary skills with our families.
