Bike Breakfast at Vicor on May 17th
From May 14 th - 22 nd , bicycle commuters all over Massachusetts participated in the 22 nd annual  MassCommute Bicycle Challenge (MCBC). This year's nine-day challenge set a new record-- participants collectively logged 156,285 miles-- over 10,000 miles more than the record set last year. That week alone, Massachusetts cyclists saved over $15,000 in gas and prevented over 145,000 pounds of CO2 from entering our atmosphere.
At the MVTMA, 29 cyclists from our members companies logged 1715 miles.  More about this year's MCBC...

This Saturday, July 30th, a new I-93 northbound on-ramp will open
and a new signal will be installed to allow traffic from the west on Routes 110 and 113 to turn left onto the on-ramp.
As a result, there will be a new traffic pattern on I-93 northbound:
  • Motorists traveling from the east will enter a new on-ramp 400 feet east of the current ramp.
  • Motorists traveling from the west will exit the rotary and travel east 400 feet to a new signalized intersection where they can safely turn left on the new on-ramp.
