Rutgers experts have been on the forefront of research into ways to address terrorism around the world, enhance preparedness at home and expand community policing in our neighborhoods.  The University's experts were featured in several stories in recent days that you may find interesting.
Farmer and Other Experts in European Union Confronting Terrorism
John Farmer Jr., former dean of the Rutgers Law School, former university general counsel and former NJ Attorney General, has been leading international efforts in Brussels to draw police, civic and business organizations, and local citizens into partnerships and develop community policing to curb violence against vulnerable communities. Rutgers NJMS Prepares First Responders to Deal with Mass Casualties

Being prepared for the unthinkable is at the heart of what first responders do.  Rutgers New Jersey Medical School recently hosted a two-day training program to assure that New Jersey's first responders have all the tools they need to meet emergencies with mass casualties - from natural disasters to manmade incidents.  Read more here .
