Chamber Welcomes Michele Schneider as Director of Business Development
The Goleta Chamber is excited to announce the hiring of Michele Schneider as Director of Business Development. Michele is a very familiar face as she has been involved as an Ambassador and Publicity Chair of the Lemon Festival for over 5 years. Michele has been working in TV advertising, coming to the Chamber from Cox Media, and most recently, Spectrum Reach. Michele was honored as Volunteer of the Year at the 2014 Goleta's Finest and is excited to bring her passion for giving back to the community to her new role.

Michele has a darling baby boy named Hunter who is 16 months old - you may know him as the Lemon Prince!

David Hunt left the Chamber July 1st after his wife, Laura, was offered a new position in Seattle. We thank David for all of his contributions over the last two years and wish him the best of luck in his next endeavor.

Please join us in welcoming Michele to the Chamber at her first B2B Breakfast on August 2nd.

Delco Overlook Dedicated at Business After-Hours
Business leaders, City representatives and Delco retirees gathered in June at the new park and open space, within Cabrillo Business Park, to dedicate the Delco Overlook. The overlook was built on the area where workers at Delco Electronics built the Lunar Rover in 1961.

Delco was the first large engineering firm in Goleta and has paved the way for much of the technology and commerce  in Goleta today.

Steve Fedde, Senior Vice President of Cabrillo Business Park led the dedication, followed by speakers Mayor, Jim Farr, Peter Jordano and Dick Temple.
