- Middle school students enter the middle school entrance to check in. High school students enter the main lobby for check in.
- Students will receive locker assignments and a copy of their schedule.
- Students will be directed to the gymnasium.
 Reminder -- 6th Grade Picnic (noon-1pm on Friday)
Just a reminder for 6th grade students and their parents: Picnic cookout. This is a great time to get acquainted and make connections. 6th grade will be dismissed at 11:30.
Friday dress ...
Friday, the first day of school, is a non-uniform day for all students. Please adhere to DCS dress policy for "jeans days." Haircuts and clean shaven for the boys.
Monday is a full day of school. Khaki or navy Docker-style pants (no outside pockets) and DCS uniform polo. If your uniform order has not come in, please adhere to the uniform standard as closely as possible.

 BONUS: Option for bow ties on chapel days??? There have been requests ... so we said, "sure ... we could do that." Here's the link to the approved bow tie (please order the "navy/green"):

Lunch order forms are available on the website and have already been emailed to the parents. Please print and fill out the form. The form and money-cash or check--need to be turned in to the front office (typically by the 15th of the month before the month you are ordering). Be sure to make yourself a copy so you know which days you have ordered lunch for your child.

Please follow the traffic pattern (shown in the diagram) when dropping off or picking up your child. Upon entering the main drive for the school, please take your first right onto the gravel drive and proceed to the middle school entrance. Cars will line up in two lanes in front of the middle school entrance. To ensure a safe and efficient process, please follow the directions of the assigned staff as they will aid in these procedures.
