2016 Hob Nob is Wednesday

The 2016 Hob Nob is Wednesday! This year's Hob Nob will be held at the Clermont Arts and Recreation Center at 3700 S. Highway 27, Clermont, from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

The Hob Nob gives you the opportunity to meet the 30 candidates who are running for office in your district and participate in a straw ballot. The event is free and open to the public. Reserve your tickets today!

Over 1,200 teachers attended the 2016 Teacher Appreciation Breakfast at the Wesley Center in Clermont this morning. Thanks to all who helped make this possible! Chamber Donates $500 to City of Mascotte

Mascotte City Manager Jim Gleason recently accepted a $500 donation from Chamber President David Colby for the upcoming Christmas celebration in Mascotte. The Chamber awards $500 to each South Lake municipality to help fund the community celebration of their choice.

The South Lake Tablet celebrated their five year anniversary on August 1. Based on Editor and Publisher Mike Corradino's 52 years of experience in broadcast and print news, the South Lake Tablet started as a community newspaper and has grown steadily for the past five years. The Tablet is even looking to expand into other cities. Read more.
