Executive Summary
Philando Castile, driving with two passengers, including a four-year-old child, is shot during a police traffic stop. He dies. It's senseless. What can we do about this? How can we prevent it from happening again?
 
I can't pretend to know everything we need to accomplish in order to move forward as a united community. However, as of now, I am fairly certain about three things we should do.

Ann Haines knew it would not be easy starting a nonprofit organization. Her organization, The Wolves Den, is dedicated to providing stable housing and a culturally enriching environment for Native American women who are in recovery from opiate addiction. On the blog, Ann explains how working with Wilder Research to develop a theory of change helped them ask critical questions about what The Wolves Den would become.

Oromo Community Assessment - Cedar-Riverside Neighborhood Survey
In partnership with members of the Oromo community, Wilder Research conducted a survey about the concerns of Oromo people living in Minneapolis' Cedar-Riverside neighborhood.

Hospital to Home Outcomes
The Hospital to Home initiative is a community-based intervention for low-resource homeless individuals with complex health care needs who turn to hospital emergency departments for ongoing health concerns. The latest outcomes show a 74% drop in ER visits after enrollment.

Minneapolis Bike Equity Report
Findings from an assessment of the current Minneapolis bicycle network and planned infrastructure changes from a health equity perspective, conducted for the Center for Prevention at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota.
 
Transit-Accessible Child Care
Results of a study on transit-accessible child care, particularly the ability of families to access child care via public transportation for Metro Transit's Office of Transit Oriented Development.
