GSSCC WORKSHOP: Trends & Innovation to Attract and Keep Staff

GSSCC's Non-Profit Team will host a workshop on "Trends & Innovation to Attract and Keep Staff" from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, in the conference room at Easter Seals . The program will be moderated by Carson Henry of YMCA Youth & Family Services . Erin Allen of Contemporaries will address "Quality of LIfe/Employee Morale" and Anthony George of Easter Seals will discuss"Retention Strategies." Click here to register.

County Executive Asks, "How are we doing?"

Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett is asking the business community to provide feedback on County services by completing an online survey. Click here to access the survey. Business owners, this is your chance! If you have something to say about doing business in Montgomery County, please complete the survey . * The Family & Nursing Care Foundation issued a $10,000 grant to Jewish Social Service Agency (JSSA) to provide in-home care private duty services to at-risk, aging Holocaust survivors in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties in Maryland, and in Washington, D.C. The grant will be used to provide approximately 460 hours of in-home, hands-on care so that these survivors may age in place and with dignity. Learn more here .
