Local Spirits:
Congrats to Prairie State Winery & Waterman Winery for bringing home a combined 18 medals to DeKalb County from the 2016 Illinois State Fair Wine Competition! Prairie State Winery even achieved Best of Category and Best of Table for their 2015 Kishwaukee Blue!

Don't Miss Whiskey Acres' Bourbon!
Just released in
June, it's made a big splash and is a great edition to the Whiskey Acres brand that also includes whiskey and vodka.

Whiskey Acres'  bourbon contains wheat as a  secondary grain which helps create a softer, more rounded spirit. It's already earned a silver medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and a bronze at the American Craft Spirits Competition.  Not bad for a young guy.

Learn more about Prairie State Winery, Waterman Winery and Whiskey Acres Distillery, as well as DeKalb County's breweries Cademon Brewing & Forge Brewhouse,  in our  2016 Spirits Brochure
