The signs of summer may be disappearing as we pick up our pencils and backpacks to head back to school, but don't pack up those tents and sleeping bags too fast! Bert Adams Scout Camp and Woodruff Scout Camp offer weekend camping opportunities for your Scouts, your family and Units! That's right; beginning in mid-August through May you can still enjoy your favorite camps and the great outdoors on the weekends. Start planning those trips, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

SPOOKY-REE AND OA TRAILBLAZER ADVENTURE CAMP
Spooky-Ree and Trailblazer Adventure Camp are part of our Cub Scout Family Camping Weekends. These weekend s offer fully-planned activities for the whole family!  Come out this October and get up close and personal with our  creepy-crawly nature show, pumpkin carving and decorating, archery, s'mores and more!  Camping is available in personal tents or take advantage of our permanent platform tents with electricity.

SCOUT DAYS
Whether you are a Braves Fan, a Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket fan, a Falcons fan or just a sports fan, we have a Scout Day for you! Scout Days are awesome opportunities to get your Scouts, friends and family together for some exciting experiences around the Atlanta Area with other Scouting families. 

Come out this fall to watch the Atlanta Braves take on the Washington Nationals, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets take on Vanderbilt and the Atlanta Falcons  take on the Jacksonville Jaguars! 

All Scout Days are offered at a discounted price of admission, and a portion of the proceeds from each Scout Day is given to the Atlanta Area Council.

TIGER TIME! TRAINING
Get your Tiger Scouts off on the right foot! Learn all you need to know about your son's first year in Scouting and how to make it fun, educational and engaging. Not sure how a Tiger Den is run? No sweat! We ensure that our parents and leaders are knowledgeable and confident in the basics and what they can expect out of the coming year.

NATIONAL JAMBOREE
The best of Scouting is here. We want YOU to live the Scouting adventure.  Head up to Summit Bechtel Reserve, West Virginia and experience hundreds of adventures over ten days, for a once in a lifetime experience. Meet other Scouts from all over the United States and beyond. Experience the Buckskin Games, Native American presentations, competitions and make progress on your advancement during classes around The Summit. This adventure kicks off  July 19-28, 2017 , but reserve your spot now- space is limited!

SCOUT SHOP: NOW OPEN SUNDAY
In an effort to make the Scout Shop more available for new and returning Scouting families, the Atlanta Scout Shop will be open on Sundays for 6 weeks: Sunday, August 21st to Sunday September 25th.
