ANOTHER YEAR OF THE SHINSHINIM PROGRAM
Israeli Teens Coming to Vancouver and Richmond for a Year of Volunteer Service
After last year's successful Shinshinim Program where we had the pleasure of working with Tomer Tetro, next year the Jewish Federation is bringing the Program to our community once again. The Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver is bringing 4 teens from Israel to come to Vancouver/Richmond to spend a year volunteering with children in the Jewish community as part of the ShinShinim program. The teens will educate local students about Israel and Israeli culture, and in doing so will make Israel come alive for them. The Beth Tikvah Shinshin (Israeli teen emissary) will be working closely with our Hebrew School children and our youth program advisors. As well, she will be joining us twice a month for Saturday service and will lead fun children programming for Shabbat.

For more information please contact Hofit, our Program Coordinator at [email protected]
