The health of our industry is contingent upon a complex range of factors, from economics to education.  Architects shape the trajectory of our industry with each client and community served. Together with the AIA, we can build a brighter future as we strive to enrich the lives of those we serve through the practice of architecture.

It's all about you!  We seek to:
  • Shed light on the AIA's ongoing contributions to industry health.
  • Shed light on underutilized member benefits.
  • Give local members a voice.
Let's show AIA National our southern hospitality!
Join us after the panel discussion at 8UP for a cocktail reception with our guests.

Members are welcome to enjoy appetizers.
Drink tickets will be provided followed by a cash bar.

We are interested in member input about the AIA's role in shaping the course of the Industry. Please send questions, insights, and observations on this topic to:

So Come and Raise a Glass to Toast Our Future with Us

Competition Registration Ends August 15
Tri Ân Monument
CALL FOR ENTRIES

In Louisville, Kentucky, a diverse group of citizens led by Yung Nguyen, an immigrant from Vietnam, has conceived this idea of a monument of thanksgiving; a place of special recognition for the tremendous sacrifices the American and South Vietnamese Armed Forces made during the Vietnam War in order to give the Vietnamese people a chance to live in freedom.
This citizen's group formed a foundation to develop this concept and to raise private funds to implement it. The foundation's name is "Tri Ân", which means "deep gratitude" in the Vietnamese language.

A site was secured in an existing park dedicated to veterans. It is in Jeffersontown, a suburb of Louisville, Kentucky. It is the Foundation's intent to fund and build the Tri Ân Monument based upon the selected design.

We would like to invite local architects and architectural interns to participate in a design competition for a project to be built.

The registration fee for students has been reduced to just $35/ entry. Non-student registration is $75. The top three entries (as determined by the jury) will be awarded $4,000 each. The winning entry will be constructed in Louisville, KY.

Note:  Registration ends August 15.
