Unsure what dance attire you or your child may need for class? Here is a breakdown on dance attire and shoes for each level:
Creative Dance:
Girls: Any color leotard and tights, pink leather ballet shoes. Boys: Gym shorts/sweats and a t-shirt, black leather ballet shoes.
Fundamental A/B
Plain, black tank leotard (no skirts, please), pink tights, plain black dance pants (like full length
yoga pants - not leggings), pink leather ballet shoes and matte black 'strappy' tap
shoes.
Fundamental, Level I- III BOYS
Black sweats and black long or short sleeved T's, black leather ballet shoes and black boys tap oxfords.
Level IV/V BOYS: Black sweats and black long or short sleeeved T's, Zoot Rhythm U-Tap Oxford
Level I A/B
Plain, black tank leotard (no skirts, please), pink tights, plain black dance pants (like full length
yoga pants - not leggings), pink leather ballet shoes and matte black 'strappy' tap
shoes.
Level II/III:
Plain, black tank leotard (no skirts, please), pink tights, plain black dance pants (like full length yoga pants - not leggings), pink leather split-soled ballet shoes and black tap
oxfords.
Level IV/V:
Plain, black tank leotard, pink tights, plain black dance pants (like full length yoga pants - not leggings), pink leather split-soled ballet shoes and black Zoot Rhythm U-tap oxford
Modern/Jazz Dance
Attire that you can move in. It is best to wear pants or leggings that cover your knees, as bare knees make floor work difficult. No pajama pants. Jazz classes need black split soled jazz oxfords.
Modern is done barefoot!
