Call Ahead Before Adding Electric Load
Are you planning to add a shop, a lighted greenhouse, a heat pump, or other electrical equipment to your home or business?

Please call us first.

Adding electric load without notifying us first can affect the reliability and safety of the electricity distribution system serving you and your neighbors. When you add load to an existing service, you risk overloading our distribution equipment. This can damage our equipment and cause outages or power quality problems for you and your neighbors. If you add load without contacting us first, you are responsible for any and all damages, costs of crew repair time, and clean-up costs.
Please contact our Engineering Department at (503) 397-0760 or [email protected] if you are planning to increase your electric load.
Loans Are Available for Energy Upgrades
Is this the year you're getting around to some of those home improvement projects? If you plan on upgrading your home's energy efficiency, heating systems, or purchasing new appliances, there could be help for you.

St. Helens Community Federal Credit Union and Wauna Federal Credit Union offer loans for PUD customers who take on such projects.

Visit  www.shcu.org  or  www.waunafcu.org  to learn more about these opportunities.
