Firefighters United 
As part of the Firefighters United Project of the Wisconsin/Nicaragua Partners (W/NP), three fire trucks destined for Nicaragua were loaded onto a C5M Galaxy at Volk Field, Camp Douglas on Friday, July 29th. 

While we cannot respond to every request, we do the best we can and purchase or find EMS vehicles as we are able with group and individual donations that come in for this purpose. Click here for more info and pics

Sports 
Click here  if you would like to buy a uniform for the upcoming flag football event, please note uniforms for sports project in comment section.  
 
This month, the girls will be playing the national team from El Salvador and the boys playing a club from Costa Rica.
 
Can you help buy 10 uniforms?  The cost is US$10 dollars each. They have 15 new players but not enough uniforms.  Almost 50 players for the next game, awesome but not enough uniforms.   Thank you for your help!  


Music Classes at the libraries 
The kids from the Sherin Bowen Library music group at the Wisconsin/Nicaragua Partners office in Managua playing their first basic song with recorders.  The kids were very happy of their progress and continue to take their classes with a lot of enthusiasm and expectations.


We'll be placing another order for recorders, if you would like to help another Learning Center have music classes, please note donation  is for music classes in the comment section.  Thank you!
