Letter from the Executive Director

Can you believe it's already August? Time for back-to-school preparations, last-minute vacations and my personal favorite, the kickoff of two great programs, Signature Program and Leadership NOW! The LPP Board, my team and I are excited about the updates being made to ensure our programs are building community and  adding  value to  program participants business owners, and individuals who support Leadership Pikes Peak.

This month, we will also be introducing you to our Alumni Association, so stay tuned for details! We are thrilled to bring you additional benefits through membership!

If you haven't heard about what we've been doing lately, give me a call. I'd be happy to share it with you!

Big Brother Big Sister Pikes Peak announces an innovative partnership with Atlas Preparatory School, and they need your expertise!

This coming fall the Mentor 2.0 program will take college preparation and post-secondary planning to new heights. Working with a low income school and a majority of first generation high school graduates we will be matching each high school freshman with a college educated (2+ year degree) mentor. This 1:1 mentorship will be done through an innovative digital platform, and will allow for the mentor to share her/his passion for business, entrepreneurship, community service, and activism.

If you have a degree, can send one email a week, and can attend one structured evening event a month then you are a perfect candidate for Mentor 2.0.
