Meet the 2016 United Way of Washtenaw County Campaign Chairs
 
Tim and Robin Damschroder

Tim Damschroder

Timothy R. Damschroder is the chairperson of the Business Law Practice Group at Bodman, a Michigan law firm. He advises clients in matters involving mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, general business, corporate governance, securities offerings, and tax.

In 2013, Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder appointed Tim to the newly created Michigan Health Endowment Fund Board. The Fund, which was created under Public Act 4 of 2013, will benefit the health and wellness of Michigan residents through programs focusing on children and seniors. Tim serves as Treasurer of the Fund, which is expected to receive up to $1.56 billion in contributions over 18 years.

In addition to co-chairing the 2016 United Way of Washtenaw County, Tim serves on the Board of Directors of the Washtenaw County United Way and on various committees of Zion Lutheran Church in Ann Arbor. He is a past president of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, a past president of Board of Directors of Peace Neighborhood Center, a past vice chair of the Board of Directors of Nonprofit Enterprise At Work (NEW Center), and a past member of the St. Joseph Mercy Health System's Development Council.

Robin Damschroder

Robin Damschroder is the CEO and founder of CatalyticFOCUS.  Through her company Robin is helping healthcare leaders create the strategies to introduce and embrace disruptive care models, business models and technologies which change their traditional methods of reaching consumers and address the consumers' needs for accessibility, convenience, speed, performance, adaptability, flexibility and cost.

Her career experience encompasses more than  27 plus years in health care industry where she has held executive level positions both in Catholic healthcare and academic medicine at St. Joe's and UMHS.

In addition to co-chairing the 2016 United Way of Washtenaw County Campaign, Robin is an active member of the UM Washtenaw County Development Council and an avid supporter of Peace Neighborhood Center.  Previously she co-chaired the 2013 Red Cross Ball and was a member of the Arbor Hospice Foundation Board and Executive Committee.

Tim and Robin are both graduates of the University of Michigan.  They live in Ann Arbor with their 2 sons.
