On Your Mark, Get Set, Celebrate!

Join us on Tuesday, August 2 at 6:00 to celebrate the end of a fantastic summer reading program. Several Dover restaurants will   generously donate food for the occasion- 99 Restaurant, Applebee's, Chili's Domino's, Dos Amigos Burritos, and Panera Bread . Starting at 6:30, TJ Wheeler will entertain us with his unique blend of jazz and blues. Games and raffles will also be part of this fun event. Bring a blanket or chairs.
Storytime at the Farmer's Market
                    

Take a break from shopping at the Dover Farmer's Market on Wednesday, August 10 at 3:00 and come to our family storytime. Books, songs, fingerplays, and games will all be part of this farm-themed storytime for   children of all ages with their caregivers. The market is located in the Chamber of       Commerce parking lot at 550 Central Ave.
 
UNH Great Bay Program

On
Wednesday, August 17 at 10:00 learn about the Great Bay Estuary and what types of creatures call it home. During this interactive program, the UNH instructor will teach us about the three main  habitats of the estuary and the   adaptations found in each.
 

Snap Circuits 

On
Saturday, August 20 from  10:00 am to 12:00 pm the Dover High School Shockwaves team will be here to instruct kids on our snap circuit sets. Drop in during this time to learn,  explore, and invent with this fun tool.
 

Lego Saturday
 
Every Saturday in August is a Lego Saturday! Stop in anytime from 9:00 am-1:00 pm on August 6, 13, 20, and 27 to build and create. Meet up with old friends and make new ones. There will also be building challenges to test your imagination.
 
Music with benji


Join us on Fridays August 12, 19 and 26 at 11:00 for this joyful family music program.   Everyone is welcome to sing, dance, and play instruments with friends old and new.
  
Artistic Happenings 
 
Creation Station

Stop in to the children's room anytime during the week of August 1-6 to make your own Olympic torch at our creation station. Don't forget the Olympics start on August 2 in Rio de Janeiro.
