Neighborhood Allies Features WCDC's Business Programs
We're grateful for the support provided by our Allies last year

Last spring, Neighborhood Allies awarded us a $65,000 Catalytic Grant to support Wilkinsburg-based businesses and to attract new businesses to Wilkinsburg.

The grant allowed us to complete a market analysis, grow our Business Image Improvement Fund, and develop some of our new marketing materials, including a booklet about Wilkinsburg and a video . Thank you, Neighborhood Allies, for your ongoing support of our organization and community!
Join Us at the Wilkinsburg House & Garden Tour on 9/24
Tickets are on sale now at bit.ly/WHGT2016!

Join the WCDC and partners for the annual Wilkinsburg House & Garden Tour on Saturday, September 24, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Each year, the tour highlights a different part of Wilkinsburg. Previously, the Regent Square and Blackridge neighborhoods were featured. Now in its fourth year, the tour will move to Hamnett Place, a National Historic District, and vicinity. This year's tour will be a little different from past tours as it will feature renovated homes, churches, and community gardens in addition to in-process rehab projects, studio spaces, and more.

Sponsor! Our sponsorship deadline is coming up soon on August 8. Don't miss out on an opportunity to support the WCDC while also promoting your business. Check out our Sponsorship Packet for
more info.

Volunteer! Event volunteers are needed on tour day.  Volunteer tasks may include registering/guiding tour goers and assisting homeowners at their homes. There are two volunteer shifts: Morning (9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.) and Afternoon (12 p.m. to 3 p.m.) Volunteers will receive free admission to the tour. Complete our Volunteer Form to sign up.

Show Your Home! Homeowners in and around Hamnett Place are invited to participate on the Wilkinsburg House & Garden Tour. Restored homes, works in progress, gardens, and studios are all welcome on this year's tour. Email [email protected] or call (412) 727-7855 to participate.
