Ivy Street School Honors Record Number of Graduates
Ivy Street School's 2016 Graduation Ceremony recognized the hard work of all of our students, including a record number of graduates. It is an honor to see our students move on to the next chapter of their lives, taking the skills they have acquired here and applying them to their next goal.
We would like to congratulate each of our students on all their achievements here at Ivy Street - we are so proud to watch them grow into young adults with increased independence and confidence!
In addition to honoring our students, our Graduation Ceremony included the presentation of
Community Partner Awards to individuals and organizations who support our mission and help give our students a brighter future. 2016's honorees included
AccesSportAmerica,
JVS Boston, and
MAB Community Services Board Member
David Root.

Extravaganza 2016
The lights were on bright, but no one shined brighter than our students as they took the stage at the Berklee Performance Center for Extravaganza 2016!
Thank you to all who came out to cheer them on in what was an incredible night of music, dancing, comedy, magic, and more, including a talented array of guest performers.
On this night we also presented two special recognition awards: the Community Award presented to our neighbors at the Cottage Farm Neighborhood Association, and the Center Stage Award to WCVB Chronicle (accepted by host Anthony Everett).
View photos from Extravaganza on Facebook!
Watch the Extravaganza opening video on YouTube celebrating all the great work done by not only Ivy Street, but MAB Community Services as a whole.
The party isn't over, though! We still need your support for the Arts at Ivy to allow our students access to a wide array of arts programming throughout the year, including art, music, theater, dance, photography, and more.

On June 22nd, our students had a great time getting dressed up and dancing the night away at Ivy Street School's
Prom 2016!
Thank you to the
New England College of Optometry for once again donating their space, as well as to DJ Mark Allen and photographer
Darlene DeVita.
